You\u2019ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"govuk-heading-s\"><strong>What you\u2019ll do at work<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>The apprentice engineer will work on attaining and maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all processes and procedures related to facilities including but not limited to cooling systems, access controls, fire suppression systems, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Understand Operational procedures and processes such as Risk Management Method Statements (RAMS), Maintenance Operating Procedures (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)<\/li>\n<li>Day to day monitoring and inspection of buildings and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Perform maintenance tasks under supervision and perform intrusive maintenance tasks under supervision of more experienced engineers<\/li>\n<li>Under supervision execute maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment to minimize downtime<\/li>\n<li>Perform Quality Checks related to the facilities e.g., check relevant documentation and test reports &amp; follow up tickets etc.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with projects to find root cause of facility issues<\/li>\n<li>React directly to incidents and events that have a potential to impact on critical infrastructure availability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 class=\"govuk-heading-s\"><strong>Where you\u2019ll work<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p class=\"govuk-body\">60 LONDON WALL<br \/>\nLONDON<br \/>\nEC2M 5TQ<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"training\" class=\"faa-vacancy__section\">\n<h4 class=\"govuk-heading-m\"><strong>Training<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"govuk-body  das-!-color-dark-grey\">Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training.
