Here\u2019s a little breakdown of the three core areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Banking<\/strong>: Working for banking institutions to help individuals and businesses manage their money.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Investments<\/strong>: Helping individuals of businesses invest income to grow and secure their wealth.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Finance<\/strong>: Helping individuals of businesses better understand their finances and the best ways to keep it safe, handle financial debt or manage their financial future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are three main areas of this industry you could work across:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Personal (Helping individuals)<\/li>\n<li>Corporate (Helping businesses)<\/li>\n<li>Public (Helping government organisations)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>It\u2019s estimated there are over 800,000 finance professionals working in the industry across Australia in a variety of roles. From Banking Administrators and Advisors to Investment Managers, Accountants to Financial Directors.<\/p>\n<p>Every organisation has a finance department, meaning a finance career can get you working with some of the biggest companies out there.
